 1. STANDA Webinar Series

 ASCA have partnered with STANDA Cultures to provide a range of cheese cultures for our artisan cheesemaker members which are sold through the ASCA shop four times per year.  STANDA provide one on one support regarding cultures to sour ASCA cheesemakers and offered a series of three webinars early 2024, to offer more information and background to our Australian artisan cheesemakers.  These webinars were hosted by Sabine Poyer who is Technico-Commercial & Sales Engineer at Laboratoires Standa in Normandy, France. The sessions were chaired by ASCA Chair Paul Wilson, Nimbin Valley Dairy.

 

  1. Troubleshooting Webinar Series
    ASCA plan to run Troubleshooting for cheesemakers webinars regularly to help Australian artisan cheesemakers. Note: ASCA also provide an online Technical Forum to assist cheesemakers.  Please feel free to post your questions big or small on the technical forum anytime: https://australiancheese.org/community/forum/

  • This webinar was held Tuesday September 3rd from 5.30pm – 6.30pm AEST. It features cheesemaking guru Ivan Larcher from the Cheese School in Castlemaine, who generously shares his extensive experience and knowledge and answers questions members have sent through prior. Questions have been grouped into categories.

  1. Meet The Suppliers Webinar Series

ASCA have started a series of  "Meet the Suppliers" webinars, where we invite suppliers to the artisan cheesemaking industry to offer a bit more information on their area of expertise including the science behind their offerings.  Please note, ASCA do not endorse any particular brands, products or companies but offer the webinars to members for information only.  

 "Cheese wrap solutions for Australian artisan cheesemakers" with Packaging company Richard Laleu and Brodart.

  • This was the first in our series of ASCA Webinars where we "Meet the Suppliers"s and held Tuesday 10th September from 5.30pm - 6.30pm (AEST). It was chaired by Paul Wilson (Chair ASCA). In this webinar we meet  Philippe Beyssier (Export Manager) and Corinne Wilmotte (Australian Representative) from Richard-Laleu & Brodart Packaging.  Philippe presents information on "cheese wrap solutions for Australian artisan cheesemakers".
