On Saturday 25th June, more than 3,000 dairy devotees descended on the Hunter Valley, NSW, for the inaugural Cheese Lovers Festival. ASCA Committee members, Sonia Cousins and Hugh Nicholas, ran the official ASCA stall under the theme #AskASCA, which provided a Q&A service for curious cheeselovers. They also distributed several thousand ASCA bookmarks.
ASCA members Milawa Cheese Co, Second Mouse Cheese Co, Tolpuddle Goat Cheese and King Island Dairy were among the many stallholders who sold and sampled their cheeses on the day, and Tolpuddle Goat Cheese and Sonia Cousins presented workshops as part of the festival's education and tastings program.
Thanks to everyone who visited the ASCA stall and supported our members at the festival.
